How to join Tasplan
Joining Tasplan is simple. Employers from any industry can join, as we are a multi-industry fund.
To obtain a complete Employer Enrolment Kit, call us on 1800 005 166. We will send you all the information you need to get started with your superannuation.

All forms and paperwork must be completed manually and returned to us in the mail. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to accept forms with "electronic" signatures, as current legislative and security requirements demand that Tasplan keep original signed copies of enrolment documentation.
Step 1:
Download and print the items you will need by following the links below:
- The Employer Guide. It contains all the information you need to join Tasplan, including the forms you must complete and return to us.
- The Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). You will need enough copies to give one to each employee you wish to contribute for. You should also read this booklet as an employing member.
The PDS is quite large, it could take some time to print or photocopy adequate supplies. We suggest that businesses with more than a few employees contact us to receive an enrolment kit in the mail.
Step 2:
Please read the Employer Guide and Product Disclosure Statement carefully. It contains all the information you need to start using Tasplan.
There is a form at the back of the Employer Guide for you to complete.
Step 3:
Give a Booklet/PDS to each employee. There are three forms at the back of the booklet, but only one is compulsory for all members to complete. Completed and signed forms should be returned to you for forwarding to Tasplan.
- The membership application form - all employees MUST complete this form.
- Application for additional insurance cover - permanent, full-time employees have the option of requesting additional insurance cover if they wish. This form is OPTIONAL for interested employees only.
- Request to rollover other superannuation benefits to Tasplan - this enables your employees to rollover their old super fund to Tasplan quickly and easily, at the same time they join Tasplan. This form is OPTIONAL for employees who wish to transfer their old super account to Tasplan.
Step 4:
If you want to send in a contribution immediately, use the Blank Contribution Return that is also in the back of your Employer Guide. Fill in your payment details and complete a cheque for the total amount of contributions.
Step 5:
Send the completed Employer forms and all completed Membership forms to Tasplan, at GPO Box 1547, Hobart TAS 7001. Include the blank contribution return and cheque if you wish. Otherwise, you will receive your first contribution return in the mail, within a month of joining the Plan. Or, you may wish to organise an electronic form of payment.
