How to pay contributions
Tasplan offers a range of payment methods designed to save you time and effort. Whether your business is large or small, there is a simple, no-fuss way of dealing with Tasplan.
While each business has its own operation and requirements, the following guidelines may be useful to you:
If you have 1-10 employees:
Payments using our Contribution Return or over the Internet may be the quickest and easiest solution for you. Filling in the Contribution Return and a cheque takes only a few minutes. Or you can use Employer Online through our website and the payment will be made by direct debit from your nominated bank account.
If you have 10-20 employees:
Tasplan's Contribution Return and Employer Online should still be quick and simple for you, but using your payroll system (if you have one) or a spreadsheet may be even quicker.
If you have more than 20 employees:
Using your payroll system or a spreadsheet should be the quickest and easiest way for you to make payments.
Using the Contribution Return
Towards the end of each month, Tasplan will send you a Contribution Return listing all the employees that our records show are members. To make payments using this form, simply complete your details and send to us with your cheque.
Making payments using a spreadsheet
Tasplan can help you to format an Excel or Lotus spreadsheet if you use either of these software packages. The spreadsheet will be formatted to contain all of your employees' details so that each month, you only have to update the amount of payment and any changes to employee details.
Making payments using your payroll system
Tasplan can accept electronic files from any of the following payroll systems:
- Aussie Pay
- CARE
- Datacare
- Dataspeed
- Ferntree Bureau
- Glider
- Lewis Paypack
- Logtronic Systems
- Masterpack
- MicrOpay
- National Payroll Systems
- Neller
- Paywell
- Quicken Payroll
- Sybiz
- Tri Micro/ Trinasah
If you use a different payroll system from those listed above, we may still be able to accept your details electronically.
Making payments over the Internet:
Tasplan's Employer Access service allows you to make your payments over the internet.
Employer Access works in a similar way to the Contribution Return, but all details are stored in your secured internet account. You can access your account to enter details of your contribution, which is then automatically debited from your nominated account and sent to Tasplan.
To register for Employer Access, please call us on 1800 005 166.
