Tasplan has provided consistently strong investment returns in our seventeen years of operation, particularly in light of difficult global investment performances during the past two.
Over the last five years, Tasplan has credited an average compound rate of 6.8% p.a. to the end of June 2006.
Since inception in 1987, the average compound rate for the is 9.6% p.a. (Rates refer to the Balanced Investment Option.)

Free financial planning advice
Members have access to free financial planning advice regarding your Tasplan account.
Tasplan engages the services of financial planners from Industry Fund Services Pty Ltd, AFSL 232514, trading as Industry Fund Financial Planning. These planners can help you to make the right decisions about your super. In line with our "no-commission" policy, our financial advisors are salaried professionals who do not receive commissions for advice provided to our members.

Access to low-cost home loans and banking services
Members have access to low-cost home loans through Super Members Home Loans (SMHL), and low-cost banking services, including credit card facilities, through Members Equity (ME). Click here for more information.
Flexible insurance cover
Tasplan offers flexible insurance cover for members that is competitively priced.

Keeping You Informed
While you are a member of Tasplan, we will stay in touch with you to keep you informed of your benefits. Shortly after we receive your membership application, you will receive a welcome letter from Tasplan, mailed to your home address. This will show your membership number. When calling Tasplan with any queries, it will help us to assist you if you have your membership number handy. Other items you will receive from us throughout the year include:

The Tasplanner magazine
The Tasplanner is our regular member magazine that is mailed to you twice each year. The Tasplanner provides valuable information about the benefits and services available to you with Tasplan, as well as tips for retirement planning. You can also read about other members and their stories.
An annual statement
An annual statement will be mailed to your home address at the end of each financial year. The statement contains details of all transactions in and out of your account throughout the year, including contributions, transfers, payments, fees, tax, insurance premiums and interest.

The annual report
Tasplan's annual report will be mailed to you in October with your annual statement. It contains important financial information about the Plan, including where your money has been invested throughout the year.
Mid-year report
To help you keep track of your superannuation contributions, a mid year report will be mailed to you each March with your Tasplan Newsletter. The mid-year report will detail your opening balance, as at 1 July of the preceding year and all personal and employer contributions paid to your account for the first six months, up to 31 December.
