Ensure your details are up to date
Tasplan recognises that members only want to receive important information and that they do not want to bombarded with advertising material. With this view in mind we keep our communication to a minimum and therefore if you want to keep control of their retirement savings you need to ensure Tasplan has been updated with any changes to your personal circumstances.
This includes:
- Change of name,
- Change of address,
- Change of telephone or email details, and
- Change of beneficiaries.
Members are advised from time to time about changes to fund benefits and if we do not have a current address you may not be given the opportunity to select the option that best suits your circumstances.
In the event we have not been given the full information required about an action being taken such as an investment switch we will usually try to contact you telephone to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and therefore a current telephone service needs to be on file.
In unfortunate circumstances where you may die, the beneficiaries you have nominated will form part of the detail used to determine to whom your benefit will be paid. If this detail is not up to date the Trustee will not have a clear picture as to what you wanted.
